Plainpalais Duplex

This large apartment, located in a dense neighbourhood of Geneva, is situated on top of a typical 1960’s building. By maximizing the layout on both floors and the balconies as well, a contemporary urban villa of elongated horizontal volumes and clean lines is created. The wooden screen system punctuates the space and creates a rhythm in the double height reception area. The kitchen ceiling finish and the cladding of the volumes in the shower-rooms also give this intervention a material density which contrasts the continuous reflective surfaces which characterize the apartment
